Snowshoeing with Blue Skies

Blue skies and soft snow make for a great day of snowshoeing at Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park. This was taken in January 2017 but I’m sure there’s still plenty of snow up at Mt. Rainier with the weather we’ve had this year. Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; […]

Afternoon Snowshoe

Here’s one from a snowshoe up at Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park taken in January. I had been sick the day before so I wasn’t feeling 100% but it was sunny and warm (32°F) so there was no way I could pass it up. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the […]

Snowy Trail

Here’s another shot from the Trail of the Shadows taken on Christmas Eve. The trail goes around a marshy area and I spotted a standing tree (not pictured) that had been gnawed on by a beaver. Keeps your eyes peeled for it if you do the hike. I have other sheep that are not of […]

Snowy Trail of Shadows

Creek crossing at the Trail of Shadows in Longmire (Mount Rainier National Park). The water in this area has a brownish color due to all the minerals and there even some hot springs along the trail. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. – John 8:36

Fall Reflections

Back in October I was cruising around Mount Rainier National Park. It was nice and sunny and I thought Reflection Lake would be a good stop. I hadn’t been there in a while so I headed up through the Paradise Visitor’s Center but the road across the valley to Reflection Lake was closed. Luckily I […]

Road to Mount Rainier

Back in October we had a good stretch of rain followed by a short break so we packed up the kids and headed up to Rainier. There was no way we were passing up a sunny fall day in the park. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The […]

Sourdough Ridge Trail

Here’s one from the Sourdough Ridge Trail in Mount Rainier National Park taken over the summer. I was up in the Sunrise area a couple weekends ago and it definitely didn’t look like this. Visability was poor and it was pouring down rain. I did see three bucks though. No one can serve two masters. […]

Ohanapecosh River

Here’s one of the Ohanapecosh River in Mount Rainier National Park. Enjoy. Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. – Luke 12:22

Mount Rainier View From Sunrise

Here’s another shot of Mount Rainier from Sunrise. For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open – Luke 8:17
