Snowy Trail of Shadows

Creek crossing at the Trail of Shadows in Longmire (Mount Rainier National Park). The water in this area has a brownish color due to all the minerals and there even some hot springs along the trail. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. – John 8:36

Colonial Creek Long Exposure

Here’s a long exposure from Colonial Creek Campground in North Cascades National Park. When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12

Stick Up

Here’s a long exposure from the Colonial Creek Campground in North Cascades National Park, Washington. I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted – Luke 18:14

Colonial Creek Campground

Here’s one from the Colonial Creek Campground in North Cascades National Park, Washington. There are a couple of walk-in sites that are right next to this creek and others in the trees along the Diablo Lake shore. Pretty nice. For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and […]

Stevens Creek

This is Stevens Creek in Mount Rainier National Park. The hike to here is about 1.4 miles making it 2.8 mile out and back. The beginning of the trail is fairly steep and you’ll have to it at the end of the hike so make sure you save some water for the end. It’s not […]

Rain Forest Loop

You know what’s stressful to do is take a long exposure with two little ones hanging around. I had the bright idea of doing a long exposure to get the water flowing under the bridge with them next to me with really nowhere for them to go since we were bound by the boardwalk we […]

28 Miles of Creek

Here’s another one from Twentyeight Mile Creek just outside of Mount Rainier National Park. It’s off of Highway 410 and Forest Road 70 but really there are tons of places to go explorer in that area so check it out if you are looking for somewhere to get lost. Just make sure you can find […]

Twentyeight Mile Creek

I had driven by Twentyeight Mile Creek a bunch of times over the years but never had the opportunity to stop for a shot. This last weekend we were looking for something to do so we loaded up the kids and headed out there. To get to it you head out on Highway 410 to […]

Peshastin Creek

We had great weather on our drive home from Wenatchee until we hit Blewett Pass. We weren’t in a hurry to get home so we made a couple photos stops along the way. Our non-photographer friends were driving us and they seemed just as excited as I was to get some shots along the river. […]

Lonely Tree

While staying in Montana last May I had noticed this tree all by itself in a meadow. I thought it would be cool to shoot especially with some fog. I waited a couple of days to see if any fog would roll in but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Despite the lack of fog I […]
