For Boston

Boston is a great American city with a lot of history and it’s extremely terrible what happened there a couple weeks ago. I was there a few months back and really enjoyed it. I took a tour around the city along the Freedom Walk which I highly recommend doing. You’ll learn a lot of early American History while getting some exercise. Double bonus.

294 Steps

It takes 294 steps to get to the top of the 221-foot Bunker Hill Monument in Boston, Massachusetts. This was the last stop on the Freedom Trail, which I highly recommend doing.

Boston Harbor Lighthouse

I got up early one day while on the East Coast cruise I took last month and took some pictures while entering Boston harbor. It was a little difficult to get clear pictures with low light and the ship moving but the vibration reduction came in handy.

The Willow That Weeps

Weeping willows line the shore of the lagoon located in the middle of the Public Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. I was there around noontime so there were a lot of people out on their lunch break enjoying the park. I know I’d do the same if I worked nearby.

Beacon Street

I was in Boston for the first time a couple weeks ago and I was quite impressed. It was really cool to see all the historic sites along the Freedom Walk. Before starting the Freedom Walk I took a little detour along Beacon Street to check out some historic houses.
